Real Life and Fic
Jan. 11th, 2013 06:10 pmI never thought I would write my second entry about real life and fantasy.
But since I´m stumbeling over entries about it Daneel I have to write something about it...
I love Supernatural and I love to read fanfiction. I had never troubel reading it as long it was about Sam and Dean. I was at a Convention where Jared and Jensen were asked about it (and Jared mentioned it at his coffee lounche) they didn´t mind writing people about Sam and Dean and them being together and stuff like this, they only had a problem with the rpf because they ended up bashing Gen and Daneel.
So the good fan I try to be I stayed away from rpf and only read Sam and Dean AU. But then I stumbeled up on some realy good fics, totaly AU (and I mean AU) and I asked the author "why did you used the real names and not Sam and Dean?". Her anser was "we know Sam and Dean and give them certain atributes and personality, Jensen and Jared we don´t know so I can use them like I like and they are actors so they could play it (not be it)"
That was something I could live with and I started to read rpf. I still don´t like rpf if they are not AU and avoid them. I know they are fiction and that is why I can enjoy them.
What I can´t understand how can anybody be jealous or hate there wifes. We should be happy they are happy. I met Gen briefly at the Con I meantioned aboufe and she is such a nice, friendly and beautyful lady I liked her from the spot. I don´t know Daneel but I like her because she makes someone happy who stars at my favourite show and having a baby should never ends up in bashing the mother because some people are to stupid to differ between their fantasys and real live.
